An old laptop run like production: Cloudflare Tunnel, signed pull-based deploys, monitoring and tested backups.
The live projects on this site run on an old Asus laptop with 5.7 GB of RAM. That limit shaped every decision: each container has a memory cap, nothing touches the network settings, and no ports are open to the internet. Traffic arrives through an outbound Cloudflare Tunnel.
Deploys are pull-based: CI publishes a signed image, and the server checks the signature against the exact workflow that built it before running it. Decisions are written down as architecture decision records, and outages get blameless postmortems.
